is a documentative photo & animation project that depicts the culture of Ukraine through separate people and simple questions that uncover the richness of the Ukrainian spirit, language, and cultural heritage. The 2-D frame-by-frame animations serve as a visual narrative element to the participants' voices. The whole project was shot on black and white film. Shooting films can be unpredictable, especially if taking pictures of a computer screen. Every participant had different lighting, environment, and video quality. Therefore, the outcomes of the images were always a surprise. It is meant to represent the unpredictability and uncertainty of today in the context of the war.
